Contraindications to performing oral hygiene procedures.
It is strictly forbidden to carry out a procedure for complex cleaning of the enamel surface in case of any acute infectious disease (tuberculosis, herpes infection, viral hepatitis). Ultrasonic cleaning during complex exposure is not performed in case of exacerbation of cardiovascular pathologies.In addition, the method has the following contraindications: - implanted pacemaker; - decompensated diabetes mellitus- epilepsy; - enamel hypersensitivity; - enamel demineralization; - osteomyelitis; - malignant tumors of the jaw; - damage to the gum mucosa.
